About Jain

Jain's musical interests are varied. Her first love is jazz fusion with its blend of musical genres, complex rhythms and instrumental approach. Pat Metheny and Jeff Lorber are among her favourites.

She is also drawn to the ethereal feel of World Music rooted in various cultures, and is a fan of B-tribe and Thievery Corporation. Her lyrics are also influenced by her work as a transpersonal psychologist, which is a blend of modern psychology with the wisdom of the Eastern philosophic traditions. Currently listening to John Mayer Where The Light is, and Larry Carlton On Solid Ground.
